Cape Sleeve Dress

I'm not quite sure what the specifics are on the "don't wear white after Labor Day" rule.  I mean, am I limited to spring and summer?  When is it actually appropriate to wear white again?  And does the cycle restart right after the new year (like, is January 1st too soon)?

There are so many "fashion rules", so many "do's" and "dont's", and as a plus size woman, I've heard them all...  I have been told to avoid horizontal stripes (and stripes in general), short sleeves, certain necklines and hemlines, fabrics deemed to clingy and unflattering for my body - the list goes on and on.

Over the years, I have broken each and every one of these so called "fashion rules".  I love stripes (and horizontal ones at that), short skirts (honey, have you seen these legs?), anything lace and guipur (preferably unlined), and yes, I will wear white after Labor Day.  At the end of the day, if you like it and it makes you happy, go for it!

And, if you're going to break the rules, make sure you're wearing something fabulous, like this incredible cape sleeve dress by Shegul (p.s: it has pockets, and also available in black here).
